Aberdeen, SCOTLAND

Alicante, SPAIN

Almeria, SPAIN

THE PROMENADE: The stalls here sell everything from diamond rings to sunglasses and novelty T-shirts. Be prepared to barter and walk away with a great deal. Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS

Barcelona, SPAIN

They don’t take bookings, you can’t pay by Visa, the only drink is house wine and all you’ll find on the menu is char-grilled meat. Belfast, NORTHERN IRELAND

Birmingham, ENGLAND

Bordeaux, FRANCE

RIVER GARONNE: Bordeaux’s riverbanks have bßeen re-developed for new walking and business opportunities. RUE SAINTE CATHERINE: The longest pedestrianised street in Europe, stretching from the impressive Grand Theatre de Bordeaux all the way to the Place de la Victoire, a charming square near the city centre. It’s home to some great shopping and attractions. 3. CEMETERY OF CHARTREUSE: Many famous people are buried here, such as Spanish painter Goya and feminist icon Flora Tristan. Cardiff, WALES

Geneva, SWITZERLAND

Knock, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Lisbon, PORTUGAL

Malaga, SPAIN
