The summer of 2008 flew by with so many great moments, including the fantastic success of the British Olympic team. It was refreshing to see how down-to-earth so many of our new stars are – just nice ordinary folks with extraordinary ability. For many of us the lowlight of the summer was the awful weather in the UK – the upside of this for bmibaby was a surge in requests for bookings towards the end of the school holidays, mainly to our sunspot destinations. We were also overwhelmed with enquiries about summer 2009, and as a result we’ve put our summer flights on sale earlier than ever before.
